Family of Universal Flexible Adhesives/Sealants for Bonding Multiple Substrates in Dry and Wet Conditions

These adhesives and sealants were developed by POLYMERight for use in both industrial and retail markets. They have the following distinctive characteristics that make them better than many currently present on the market competitors' products :

• They are extremely hydrophobic, and, therefore, they can work on not only dry, but also wet materials, and even can bond materials after being applied and cure underwater,
• They have excellent bonding strength to a wide array of substrates, including such difficult to glue materials as soft and hard Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
• After hardening they do not become rigid and brittle as majority of other epoxies, but remain tough, flexible and impact resistant.
• They have better chemical resistance to acids and caustics than the majority of conventional epoxies,
• They have high bonding strength both in thin film applications, and when applied over gaps and pores as a caulk-sealant

These formulations are 100% solid (i.e. they do not contain any solvents or other VOCs). They can be used as adhesives, sealants and caulks simultaneously. Their viscosity, thixotropy and rate of curing are easily adjustable in a very wide range in order to cover requirements of multiple types of customers.

These characteristics allow them to be used as

• adhesive and sealant for PVC, as they can bond PVC to itself and to other materials,
• patching compound for the cracked concrete and brick constructions, including the underground pipelines, sumps and wells,
• prime tool in the repair and maintenance of swimming pools, plumbing and irrigation systems, etc.,
• ideal adhesives for the marine environment.
